Samsung A5 | FRP Bypass Guide¶
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to bypass the Factory Reset Protection (FRP) on a Samsung A5 device. The level of difficulty is low, and anyone can follow this guide, including beginners.
Instructions¶
- Enter Recovery Mode: Before proceeding, enter recovery mode to wipe the entire device.

Press the volume up + power button simultaneously.

Wipe Cache and Device: While in recovery mode, perform the following actions:
- Select "Wipe Cache" to clear the cache.

Select "Wipe Device" to erase all data.

Reboot Device: After wiping the device, choose "Reboot Device" from the recovery menu. Meanwhile, as the device starts up, remove the SIM card and leave the device unlocked.

Resolve Device Hang: If the device hangs on an error, follow these steps:

Press and hold the volume down + power buttons together.

Wait for Samsung Logo: Once the device restarts, allow the Samsung logo to load completely. It may take 2-5 minutes to reach the welcome screen for setting up a new device.

Reach Start Screen: When you see the start screen with the "Start" button and language selection, insert the SIM card but do not enter the PIN.

Remove SIM Card: At this point, carefully remove the SIM card while simultaneously pressing the power button. You will see the screen change as described below.

Navigate Setup Wizard: Swipe the setup wizard to the right and select the appropriate option (volume icon).

Access Notification Settings: Press the "Notification Settings" option and scroll down to find YouTube.

Reinsert SIM Card: Insert the SIM card again since you need an internet connection to access the required options.

Access More Settings: Once the SIM card is inserted, press "More Settings in App," followed by selecting "About."

Access Google Privacy Policy: Now, press "Google Privacy Policy."

Start Samsung Browser: Samsung Browser will now open.

Download the following apps:

Install q.apk: Install q.apk last. This will add Google Account Manager to the app list. Scroll down until you find Google Account Manager.

Sign in via Web: Press on "Email and Password." Instead of entering the password, tap on the three dots in the upper-right corner and select "Sign In via Web."

Return to Wi-Fi Settings: After signing in, you will be taken back to the Wi-Fi settings, and the device will be unlocked.
